I have one of these belts, and it's got matching dangle earrings and a bracelet too. Quite a stylish set, even nowadays.

I still associate concho belts with the 70s, but it seems like some variation of them is worn every decades. In the early to mid-70s, they were worn with denim work shirts and faded flared jeans, and they didn't have ends hanging down. In the early 70s, you sometimes saw them with a matching hatband on a floppy-brimmed hat.
