i cant believe that someone else had a pair of tango bogata,i have looked everywhere for a pic and cant find one,i also had burgandy y cardigan,burgundy staypress and a navy blue ski jumper aswell as a donkey jacket....i must of been about 10

i had a pair of adidas tango bogatas,i thought i was the bees knees starting the new school term(my fourth year secondary),1988.I recall they cost 42.00,and ALL my friends knew it!!good times!

To Dean. Look on Transalpino's Adidas archive they've got a picture of Tango's which are white but no bogata's. Which is a shame because they were the nearest kicks got to looking like footy boots

I just seen a pair of tango bogota on ebay only a size 7.5 though. They're £80 & the seller is called boos hank if anyone is interested. Still not seen any Y cardys yet!

I grew up a tramp, a pure tramp, seriously, and my brother gave me £20 toward a pair of trainers,(well he suggested it and I never let him forget it) and my plan was to buy a pair of Nike Division (the proper pair, not the weedy secondary school version) or Pony Linebacker or Arrow Astro- there was no decent Puma around then, and then I clocked them- Adidas Tango Bogota! But they were £28, a stretch- what would I do? So the only decent thing my female parental unit ever did for me was to put £8 towards them(she still made me feel as if I'd bankrupted the whole family). And when I took them to school, they got 'christened' by wee jealous diddies- those were the days
