I had lots of twister beads, and clasps, you could have a matching necklace for any outfit just by twisting several colors together. I still have a lot of them, have never stopped wearing them! They look good with the vintage bead clip back and screw back earrings of the 40's 50's and beyond.

I worked in a store in 1984 and we sold Twist a Bead necklaces. Even some that were actually real stones. Sold like crazy. Was so surprised they died out so fast. A year later you didn't see anyone with them on.

I had to make one with my own beads and buy a separate clasp.
