Description: Solid color, modular, one size fits all knit clothing that could be mixed and matched, usually warn with HUGE shoulder pads. It was sold at UNITS retail stores in local malls.

This was THE uniform of the 80's. If you were a working girl, you had big hair, big shoulder pads, and UNITS, baby! Wild colors and all those belts that you would also wear in your hair.

These were originally made by Dallas designer Sandra Garratt in about 1983-84, kind of boxy-cut, stretch-jersey knits in crayon box colors with serge stitching around the edges for a simple, mix-and-match dress scheme.
