Description: The earliest Reeboks that I remember were the high-top Freestyle (female) and Ex-O-Fit (male) models. Early on, they were in many colors... however, black and white are still popular today. Later on, they branched into basketball shoes (all high-tops at first).

I wanted the colored ones so bad! Especially the yellow ones! I remember being jealous of Whoopi Goldberg in "Jumpin' Jack Flash" cause she had all the different colors.

I remember the Reebok Pop-Tops best--high-tops in bright colors thickly padded around the ankle--I wanted a pair so much!!

1985 first pair. Laced white high tops with double velcro straps. $39.99. Wore with pants tucked in white slouch socks. Tide with bleach alternative detergent was not invented yet. I washed my white socks along with my other clothes. All my white socks turned pink.
