Sex: male
Type of clothing: boots
When it was popular: 1980s
Description: We in the goth scene used to wear these boots with really pointy toes with lots of straps and buckles a bit of a heel on them. Usually a chain going under the boot and a strap over and across the back... way evil looking

We used to order these out of British music magazines in the early 80s, but by 85/86 they actually became mainstream popular and you'd see people wearing them all over the place. Ankle-high boots, often with a little cuff, usually zipping up under straps that buckled with heavy, hardware buckles, and always with a winklepicker (ultra pointy) toe. Flat. You also saw white ones. They kind of looked like early 60s winklepicker boots but with heavy straps and buckles added.
