Oh MAN this was like drinking battery acid!

Apple? For some reason, I always thought it tasted more like Nutmeg.

It didn't taste like apple to me and my brothers. We were young at the time and used to get the pink liquid "bubble gum" flavored antibiotics when we were sick. We all thought it tasted like that. Our parents only bought 7-up gold once, because we refused to drink the medicine soda.

Apple?? No way. It was cinnamony, but tasted more like ginger ale. Loved it while it was around - 1989 I think.

There was a brand of soda that was apple; it was "Aspen"

Why did it undo that slogan, did it have caffeine?

100% Nastay...Whew! Too much Spice flavor that didn't mix well with SoCo...stick to diet 7up for that. This is on the 90's page as well.

Is this stuff still around? I'd like to "go for it." Peach to all 80's kids.

Ugh... Cherry 7-Up was pretty good, but this was just plain nasty... Glad they stopped making it...
