Loved these! I'm sure thousands of chileheads have started down the road to addiction with these, even back when they were so hot you had to take them out of your mouth for a bit. We used to have these with Shasta sodas at day care.

I bought about 5 packages of them and ate 2-3 atomic fireballs daily for the past month. Yesterday a piece of my molar tooth broke and I went to the dentist. I now have to do a root canal in a couple days...these candies are so goooood.. but it's not worth tooth decay.

The best Fireballs that I've been able to find lately, are at Sam's Wholesale. They have this $10 gigantor-sized tub of the things they sell, the carton looks like one of those old-timey candy-store jars. The AFBs in those are, for reasons I can't explain, hotter than the ones you find elsewhere.

My third-grade teacher used to give Atomic Fireballs out as rewards and prizes, and don't ask me why, but everybody got into the habit of putting one in their mouths, then running over to the sink with the drinking fountain on it in the classroom and filling their mouths with water ... maybe it was to take the edge of the heat? Unfortunately, that combo of red-hot cinnamon and questionable tap water made me sick as a dog, and I never touched another one. :(

I bought a big container of them at Costco. Keep it on my computer desk. These things are great, and I've loved them for years.
