Description
This boxed mix was out in the late 80s/early 90s and made the best bars - two layers of soft, crumbly oatmeal topping with a thick layer of chewy, gooey caramel in the middle. Tasted especially great when you warmed them up in the microwave a little bit and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

I LOVED these bars. I baked them for parties and eveyone would ask for the recipe. Then suddenly I couldn't buy them anymore. I was just doing a search to see if I could find a similar recipe. They were that good.
