I remember laser bars fondly they were my fafavorite sweets so much so I got grounded for 2 days for saving up my pocket money & buying an entire box from our local pub! Happy days but I haven't seen any lasers for at least 20 years glad to see im not the only one that misses them so come on Bluebird bring em back!.

BLUEBIRD factory was down the road from where i lived, the factory today is still used and still has the bluebird gates, but unfortunately they no longer make toffee, and my beloved Lazer bars....I wish I had better news, and hopefully someone will produce them again....

Oh at last, Ive discovered im not alone in remembering these yummy candy sticks! Our icecream van used to sell them, 2p each I think, fond memories of stocking up on them, Used to get sooooo excited when we heard the van coming. I cant believe they've not been brought back with all the other retro treats. : (

I can remember dipping the laser bars in tea to soften them and then just sucking on it. Everyone I've ever asked can't remember them :(

Wow. Bluebird made them?! That is a very useful piece of the puzzle. Funny that flyboy used to buy them from a pub - so did I! There was a pub opposite my secondary school in Bicester, The White Horse, and we used to go over there at lunchtime and buy about 10 at 2p each. One mate used to then sell them for 5p at school, very enterprising. After Texans they were my favourite sweet. So nostalgic :')

I loved these as a kid. Remember being away on a camp and buying loads of them....a whole box!!!! Really do wish some company would bring them back. Along with bluebird toffee and the little hammer you used to get to break the toffee up..the building is virtual a shell now...stores kids play equipment.
