Description
Bounty bars were basically the same thing as Mounds and Almond Joy candy bars, but had better packaging. They were around in the late 80's I believe.

I prefered Bountys when they were the 1 big bar instead of they way they are 2 funsize one's these days. they changed in 1989 which is well in our lifetime!!! i hope this settles some bets between people!!! that they were once 1 bar, not 2 mini ones!! Fact. Pure tome!!!

Bounty was always in two bars even in the 70s in Australia.

For some reason I always liked these better than Mounds.

Mars still makes Bounty. It's sold in Europe but some markets (Hillers in SE Michigan) sell it in their import aisle.

I agree that the packaging with the tropical theme was much better than Mounds! Made me want to impulsively buy it

You can easily get them at any store that sells British import candy. I seem to remember that the coconut tasted more real and less mushy. I wonder why they took them off the American market?
