California Coolers are back! Woo Hoo!

OMG! I loved California Coolers back in the day..they came in a handy 2 liter size!

Just found this recipe for 80's wine cooler that is supposed to taste like California Cooler. It takes Chablis,7-Up soda, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and lime juices. This recipe can be found on m.drinksmixer.com

I've watched the commercials on YouTube and remember when the orange California Cooler came out. A two liter bottle for me and my friends before the Friday night high school football game.

Remember these so well. Used to get my girlfriend Denise drunk on them. They had so many fun wine coolers back then. Bartles & James and Calvin Coolers.

I was thinking nostalgic pre-Covid days of California coolers, Marlboro 100's and all things 80's...i miss those days. Mtv..When they had actual music videos...Duran Duran, Culture Club, Prince...Stevie Nicks "Stand Back"...remember Spandau Ballet? Does anyone out there remember the film "Just the Way You Are" with Kristie MacNichol? 1984? I have it on VHS but i don't have a VCR!

Yummm. Remember Cold Duck, Pink Champale, Red Dog beer with the fun caps. Me & friends would keep the caps for a fun game maannn we had so much fun with those caps!! Remember music videos that were not edited, Soul Train, OMG General Hospital (Luke & Laura)SIGH, wish I had 6pk of the original California Cooler.

Here it is July and not a California Cooler in my hand!And what up with all those hard seltzer? Wussy drinks!
