Description
I graduated in '82 & our high school cafateria used to sell Captain Crunch ice cream bars. They were very similar to the Good Humor chocolate eclair ice cream bars with the same chocolate crunchies. I do beleive that the Captain Crunch ones had a much better flavor though & they also had strawberry. I miss them!

These were my favorite and they did taste better than the good humor eclairs (crunchier). I have not seen them in many years, but I recently tried the Kroger Arctic Blasters. They are close enough that my memory of 30 years cannot tell them apart.

Oh yes, I remember them too. You are right, they are similar to the Eclair bars but Captain Crunch was so much better. I would love to be able to get these again. YUM

We were teens,mid-sixties,and we loved these treats. They were the best tasting ice cream bar sold. I don't know why they stopped selling them. :-(

I remember them back in the early 70'2 and they were the best. The creamy chocolate on the inside was absolutely delicious. I would give anything to have one right now. If only they would come back out with them.

I remember these well and keep trying to find them. We used to get them in the 60's and 70's at the local pool snack shop. My husband and I were just discussing how yummy and creamy the centers were on both chocolate and strawberry versions. Did company that manufactured go out of business?

OMGoodness....Captain Crunch bars were the absolute best. The outside crunchy coating was sp delicious and the bar was full of the crunch coating and I loved them. Does anyone remember the ice cream roll/ log they had back in the late 60's early 70's? I would get that if they didn't have the Captain Crunch or Drumstick cone. It had a smooth cake coating almost reminds you of an ice cream log. I have searched the Web but no success.
