Bacon/cheese cheetos were the best. I loved them. I really wish they would bring them back. I would be so happy!

Bacon Cheetos were my all-time favorite snack ever! From what I remember, they were only around in 1983 (maybe '82 as well) then they disappeared. I've been wishing Frito Lay would bring them back ever since!

Yes! They were great. I was so excited when I first saw the Cheetos Bacon Cheddar crackers, but they are terrible -- the old puffs had a much better bacon flavor. FritoLay won't admit they existed, which makes me think there was something horrible in the cooking process. But I remain hopeful they'll bring it back someday...

They actually still sell Cheetos Bacon & Cheese flavor puffs in Australia.

I used to buy 4 to 5 bags at a time, that's how good they were... I really missed that awesome flavor. Do you think if all of us Bacon/Cheese Cheeto lovers expressed this concern to Fritolay they would bring them back????

I had them once at a party and they were GREAT, but I could never ind them in the store. I wish they would bring them back.

My friends dad caught me full tilt on this bag of delicious smoky bacon cheddar cheetos while we had the munchies in his garage. It was the funniest thing in the world- we laughed hard. But that was in the mid to late 80's - Maybe 1987-88. So I know these chips existed here in California during that time. They were crunchy; they weren't puffs. Please bring them back you ratt bastards at Frito Lay!!!!

Man I was just mentioning these the other day to my wife and decided to google them, found you guys. I told her those crunchy bacon and cheese flavor cheetos were the best snack of my childhood and I still remember that smokey flavor I craved at recess. . .I am now mid thirties.

Finally, I found someone else who remembers Bacon and Cheddar Cheetos! I was starting to think they had just done some test marketing in our area (northern Illinois) in the early '80s. I'm glad other people across the country got to experience the bliss, too.

OMG, For so long I've asked people if they remember this flavor and nobody did. Being that I was so young I thought maybe I thought they were bacon flavered, but now I know. I was only 3 or 4 when they were out. I mean the store was at the corner and we would walk there daily and that's all I wanted, and here I am as a grown woman wanting them so bad. I remeber my first time it was like no other . It was a summer night I hjust got out the pool and there they were my mom suprised me with my first bag after that it was on yo all night after night i would sneak in a bag before dinner i knew it was wrong but I couldnt stop .some time i wake up from a dream and wish that we were together again .until we meet again
