Description
Bite-sized chocolate chip cookies that came in a little red foil bag. Not too many people remember them, but the commercials were pretty humerous.

i remember these! we never had them in canada, but did we ever get the ads during our after school cartoons. "the candy that looks like a chocolate chip cookie! no, it's the chocolate chip cookie that looks like a candy!". i so desperately wanted to eat chipopities and drink capri sun. we did end up getting capri sun, but alas nary a chipopity to be found.

I remember them very, very well. I used to eat them in New Brunswick, Canada. They were in a silver bag here, though, not red. They were delicious! :)

I too remember Chipopity. I live in Toronto and we definitely had them here. They were almost like a smaller variety of Cookie Crisp Cereal. I recall the T.V. commercial with two sides arguing whether or not it was a candy or a cookie. Those were the days!

I remember getting 'em from a corner store here in Richmond, BC as a kid. I used to buy them all the time, and they went down well with a slurpee! I'd buy them again in a heartbeat...

I used to love these! I'm from near Toronto and we couldn't find cookie crisp so these were a very nice second!! Youtube doesn't even have the commercials. Too bad.

I loved chipopities as a kid! My family owned a corner store and I remember them very well (I live in Halifax, NS). The commercial, especially the song, is burned in my brain! Someone above said it was a devil and an angel arguing. Why do I remember a country girl (like Daisy Duke) and a biker guy??? LOL! Anyway, I'd die to see that commercial again. I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Too bad...

FINALLY!!! Im not crazy!! Ive been talking about chipopities for the past 10 yrs or so and nobody remembers them. We had them in NFLD too in silver bags. The commercials were hilarious. I used to google them all the time and there were no results and now after about 5 years there is finally something to verify that im not crazy haha. We gotta find out who made them and get the commercials on youtube

Yea I remember Chipopities. and they WERE in Canada, least in Winnipeg they were. I used to walk to school and in the mornings I'd stop into the Mac's store and buy a bag almost every day. They were the BOMB! Of course, I'm not so proud that I used to take the money for them, from my Grandpa's wallet without him knowing. Kids will be kids tho I guess...
