Description
Potato chips, that advertised, "not as greasy as regular chips,", they would show two bowls lined with paper towels, one with regular chips, one with chippo's... and the chippo's side didn't have the oil stained towel, they also came in a foil line box, ( i think ,like bugels)

The previous comment was right on about chippos. I grew up in Chicago, and these chips were very popular. In 1976, my family moved to Arizona and no one had ever heard of chippos. We used to have my aunt from Chicago send my family these by the case! Foil lined box, wonderful flavors, what great memories!!!!

I too remember Chippos very well ! My Mom was a potato chip junkie (lol) and liked the regular chips. I preferred these because they were less salty than regular chips. I wish they would revive these great products every few years so the new generations have a clue to what was good !!

Just thinking about chipos today. Crazy that others miss them too. At least I remember them being great. I have a couple years on me now.
