I loved these so much that I chipped my new Veneers trying to get the package opened. I did this while working at a grocery store, we would sneak them from the back. I told the manager I hit my mouth on the door of the bailer in the back and she sent me home. Ahhhhh...good times!!!!

I loved Choco Bliss. In fact I managed to make up some goofy song in their honor. The sad thing is, there is even a section on Wikipedia on this great snack.

My girlfriend is pregnant, and man does she want one of these things.... we both are 28 years old, but I'm not sure if I had one. I was looking all over the net, trying to find a place to get them, but now that I know they are discontinued I can stop my search and start my plead with Hostess to bring them back...lol.

Choco-Bliss...talk about "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss!" I used to bug the heck out of my mom and dad to get them for my lunchbox for school! I'm tellin' you, I used to KILL these mugs! Oh the moist, dark chocolate cake, the yummy, whipped, creamy goodness of that chocolate mousse filling, and the beloved fudgey deliciousness of that ribbed Spackle they called icing...OH, WHY DID YOU GO AWAY???!!! So sad right now

I used to sell Hostess Cake. When Choco-Bliss were introduced to the market we had a sales meeting and were asked "What salesman can sell 200(?) Choco-Bliss a day?" Of course I was the only guy to stand up and because I did I won a Phil Simms jersey from the Regional Sales Mgr.! They sold very well at first but were never a huge volume item like Twinkies or Fruit Pies. I loved them, and like one of the stories told above, they were great with a Yoo-Hoo chocolate drink. I used to call it The Chocolate Lovers Lunch! I'm really dying for one now, LOL!

I LOOOOOVED these! The perfect reason to drink milk was Choco Bliss...I believe that these treats could be used to fight terrorism. Give a terrorist one, and he will defect to the US quick!

Ohhhhhh my goodness. Choco Bliss.... When my mom made my lunch for me she would always give me a PBJ, enough money to buy a milk and a dessert. Well let's just say I always loved it when I opened up my lunch and found a Choco Bliss. It was AMAZING with milk. When I try to tell people about the legend of the Choco Bliss they simply do not understand.

Choco Bliss was the #1 best Hostess snack ever made. I however disagree with comments above that they should dump Suzy Q's, because Suzy Q was still #2 back in the days of Bliss and is the current #1 Hostess in my opinion. The complaint of dry and stale is because people just didn't pay attention to shelf life back then. It's too bad people now days buy for the fondant coating over the cakey goodness, because now days even Suzy Q's aren't carried by most stores, and in my opinion changes to cheapen the fondant recipe in recent years have made cupcakes and zingers much inferior to what Hostess used to produce when Choco Bliss was around. I am all for bringing back the Bliss, but they should also bring back the original recipes to all the hostess products. They could call it "Hostess Classics" (like Coke did), and perhaps just set up a couple of factories selling them over the internet. I would be willing to pay a little extra for an original recipe product shipped to me the next day.

Thank you from the bottom of my Choco Bliss cravin heart! Been racking my brain for years trying to remember what these precious pillows of chocolatey love were called! I used to put 2 on a pretty plate and frost them with Cool Whip... hey, don't make fun of me! What's YOUR silly food combo?!?! Anyway, this was the special part of my day. I had a new baby, I was gettin very little sleep and I... I... I just couldn't help myself! My precious son asleep next to me on his blankie on the couch and my "chocolate happiness" on a plate. Bliss!!! Weren't they so good? Is there anything out there that is similiar?

It's such a relief to see there are so many other people out there like me. I feel like we should start a support group for people that feel a void in their lives because Choco Bliss was taken from them during their childhood. "Bliss" even became my favorite word because of them. So sad!

Every few days or so, I'll get a chocolate craving and down a brownie, or candy bar. If it's extreme I'll go for a pint of chocolate brownie ice cream..... NONE of these can stand up to Choco Bliss. It killed the chocolate craving for a week!

I remember the bunch of skipping school and smoking weed in the basement of a friends house. When we got the munchies afterwards, someone would volunteer to hike to the store for some goodies and I would tell them to pick up some Chocobliss for me. Totally awesome for satisfying the "munchies".

Nice to see other folks who have enjoyed this as much as I did. I tel my wife about these and she always says, "if they were really that good, they would be around like Zingers." Alas, she knows not of the delicate blends of chocolate that a Choco-Bliss had.

Growing up in the 80's my parents would always stop at a store that sold these on the way to see my granny on Sundays. I remember the disappointment when one Sunday it was no longer on the shelf. I really loved these things and miss them.
