Description
It was (or is-don't know if it is still around) a red soda that tasted like creme soda. I remember it around 1986-1989. I drank it all through high school!

I used to get Cima Red during lunch time at my private school. I liked it better than Big Red.
I MISS Cima red! It was WAY better than big red. It took me a while to realize it since I was a small kid, but once I got a bit older, I started realizing how much more fizzy Cima was. I miss it! :( WHY DID THEY HAVE TO STOP MAKING IT?!?!?

Back in the late 80's I would get Cima Red at a small town gas station on the drive from Houston to Austin. I don't remember the town name, but I will always remember the stop; Cima was a real treat!

Big Red has the recipe, they sell it under the name Big Blue here in Texas.
I miss Cima Red and remember in junior & high school the 20oz were 2 for $1. Me and my buddy would take turns buying them one for me and one for him the next day it was the other guys turn to buy.
I rememeber being able to get Cima Red up until about 1999. I believe Coca-Cola Co owns the formula for it so write them to bring it back.
Cima was so fizzy that we opened a bottle and it shot out and killed a bug that was flying around in the kitchen! I miss that stuff.

I have found the next thing to cima red. It's in san antonio at a shell's located by magic 105.3 building. And it's called FAYGO RED POP. I swear I'm in love. It hits the spot like cima. Wow and it's only a buck. It says strawberry but I swear u wont regret it if ur a cima red person.

In the early 90's here in San Antonio that was my go to munch pik nik 2for$1 tacos and bottle of Cima Red. It was a big bottle too like 32oz for like .39 or .49
