Did the creamy burger only exist in SC? I see on here people from Rock Hill. I'm from Clover, and I know a girl that went to school in Columbia that new about them. I've never met anyone from anywhere else that new of them.

I am so glad I am not alone on the hunt. My sister and I have been talking this for awhile. We loved them as kids. We will keep looking for more info.

My coworker and I were just discussing them also. I used to eat them when I was a little girl. I loved them too. We live in Kentucky so I am assuming they were available in many states. I was watching that TV show UNWRAPPED one night and saw an ice cream just like that but it had a different name. I can't remember what company made them. I will try to research this on the internet as well. It seems like they get rid of all the good stuff.

Thank God!!! My husband thought I was crazy. I am from the Virgin Islands and I loved those things. They stopped selling them in our little corner store once I started HS in the early 90's. I havent seen them since but I would love to have one now. I have never met anyone else who remembered them. Thanks guys!!

There was nothing like it. I want one too! They would be easy enough to assemble at home...but never ever like the original creamy burger...someone start making them again!!!
Good Humor - June 29, 2009 - Report this comment
I am in Rock Hill and LOVED this ice cream. I think it was made by Good Humor, but then sold to someone else.
Marshall - July 09, 2009 - Report this comment
Bring it back!! I loved those things... I stopped seeing them in the early to mid 90s. I emailed the corporation that owns Good Humor (I'm pretty sure that was the vendor) and asked what needed to be done to bring them back. I'll start a petition if necessary.

Aw man, this was my favorite ice cream of all time, they sold them here in Ohio. A store called Lawsons used to sell them. I once saw them in a tiny store in West Virginia years ago, but alas they appear to be extinct.

Yo!!! This is CRAZY! I'm from Clover too, and I live in Florida now. NOBODY here knows what I'm talking about. They used to cost us 35 cents @ Kinard Elementary in the early 80's. BRING BACK THE CREAMY BURGER!!!

I used to buy these in Belmont, NC at Jerry's Market. They were the best! Always have wondered what happened to them. It was the perfect combination of chocolate, ice cream and cookie. Makes my mouth water thinking about it...

OMG the Creamy Burger! I could not remember the name but have been looking for any trace of them online. I am from Greensboro, NC and grew up eating these. They came in a little red box and were wrapped in plastic. I believe the last one I had was in 1994 or 1995. Please start making these again! I will sign the petition :)

I been looking for them too, but I assume they stopped selling them sometime in the 90's. They were the greatest ice cream bar/treat ever! I live in Kentucky. Last time I remember buying one was at a small country store in the mid 1990's. Costed just under a dollar at the time. Well worth it. The package was red and had white letters, and may have had a little graphic of the creamee burger on the package as well, if I recall.

Yes, my aunt also owned a small country grocery store and she had the Creamy Burgers as well... I too have been on the search for them. Seems like we have a pattern here SC and KY...hmmm maybe a search method will develop and become fruitful..
Kelly - October 18, 2009 - Report this comment
They were available in the central Virginia area and could be purchased at many of the small country stores. It was packaged in a red cardboard box. Later in the early to mid nineties it was packaged in a red colored plastic wrapper.

I must say, I thought that I was the only one that was looking and craving for this sandwich. I am nuts about this thing that they call an ice cream sandwich, but I rather call it a God given mound of joy. I love, and I am still in love with this ice cream sandwich. I want to know so bad who made it?, why they stopped selling it because I feel like I could've kept the business going all by myself as many as I ate growing up as a child in Clinton, NC. This is the greatest ice cream sandwich that was ever made. I love butter pecan ice cream, but I swear to you if I ever found a place that still sold these Gifts from God, I would never eat another ice cream ever again. I would try my best to buy a gazillion of them. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee somebody bring them back. I will sign a petition and my email address is shelbymcneil@ymail.com if anyone has any information about it. Thanks.
