I am so glad others remember these things, for some reason I just went through a short fantism of the sensation of eating one of these popsicles when I was young and I can't think of anything that matches it today.. Goofy was my favorite. They also had pushups.. Do these things still exist? I hoped I would find a picture because the memory is faint.

Yes! I finally found a site that people know what I'm talking about! I had no idea anyone missed these as much as I do. It's one of my favorite childhood memories. I would pay any amount to taste another popsicle. I've tried other similar popsicles, but they are just not the same. They should start making these again. Someone should get a petition going. I think we have eleven people so far.
Yiannos - May 16, 2009 - Report this comment

I can't believe I found this web page! Those Disney popsicles were the best ever! I want them back at my local supermarket! It's been years!
tracy - July 02, 2009 - Report this comment
i know exactly what they are. I used to buy them for my kids all the time. They loved them. I hope they make them again. I think they are made by the same company that makes all those disney ice cream treats now days. I remember them from the late 80s.
Paula - July 04, 2009 - Report this comment
I really wish I could find some. No one else I know seems to remember these. For a while I thought it was just a dream. I wish I could taste these again. . .
Chrissy - July 08, 2009 - Report this comment
I can't believe others remember this!! With the hot weather lately I can't but think back to the summers in the front yard with an Orange Donald or a Goofy Grape or even the Cherry Minnie!! They had the best taste that nothing could beat! Man o man I wish they'd bring these back!!
SgtPepper - November 16, 2009 - Report this comment
These popsicles were amazing and I miss them so much! The brand/name of the popsicles was Mickey's Parade Ice Pops. Someone needs to write Disney and beg them to make these again! They also used to make Mickey's Parade Ice Cream bars (chocolate dipped Mickey ice cream heads) but at some point stopped production on those, too. Several years ago, though, I saw them in the store and bought them. They were under a different name, but it was the exact same thing.
Christine - November 30, 2009 - Report this comment
I miss these so much, i seriously would love to know how to get them again. I feel so old and it's so sad that the best things do not exist anymore
Dymes - December 15, 2009 - Report this comment
Wow, I miss those so much. Im 24, I don't remember how old I was when I used to eat them. They remind me of my grandma though. I get nostalgic just thinking about them.
amanda79 - December 19, 2009 - Report this comment
My sister and I used to eat these when we'd visit our grandparents! We only got to see them twice a year, and they always had the freezer stocked w/ pops. I remember Donald, Goofy and Micky - not Daisy & Minnie. No clue why my parents never bought them - perhaps not available in our area??
Melrose - February 05, 2010 - Report this comment
I was just at a restaurant and had Orange Fanta out of a soda machine and got a flashback to me in my parents' garage eating a Goofy (orange) ice pop. These things were amazing and clearly left an impression since I am 24 now and couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 when I ate them...
Damian - February 17, 2010 - Report this comment
Good Humor made them but lost the rights to make Disney pops they made these some cream filled ones and Mickey Ice Cream bars. There was even a short lived Chip and Dale rescue rangers ice cream bar that was chocolate and chip and dale had candy noses. They were called Mickey's Parade Ice Pops
Chauchy - February 18, 2010 - Report this comment
The ice cream truck used to sell the Chip and Dale ones! All Disney pops / ice cream were delicious. It's a wonder why they stopped selling them, and havent started again

Man, I remember these too! Anytime we would take a trip to Orlando to go to Disney I would always beg my parents to buy a box! They were the greatest thing ever! And now I want some...

Dudes, my wife and I were rimenicing (spelling? about things from our childhood (teddy rupskin, etc.) and both remembered these popsicles...and both independently thought of them this week (it is summer!). Donald was orange, my fav. I think goofy was purple (my wifes fav). I still remember how detailed the popsicles were, which made them taste even better!!!

I want them so bad i am pregnant and having a major craving, i have been thinking about them for years, I loved mickey that one was my favorite! It is crazy that i can remember them when i was so young
Cece - April 21, 2011 - Report this comment
I agree, I miss them too... I'm 24 and pregnant and even though I hardly have an appetite I've been craving these like crazy! There is nothing comparable to them and it's driving me crazy. I have a freezer full of popsicles that didn't live up to what I was craving so they just sit there and stay frozen and look colorful. I can almost taste and smell the cherry and orange flavors and it's maddening! Those things must have had drugs in them because they were so addictive and now I'm feening. What were they thinking discontinuing these?
Anj - May 12, 2011 - Report this comment
These were the best ice pops! I'm 26 and I can still remember the taste and texture of these like it was yesterday!! biting off Micky's ears was always the first thing to do. Oh how nostalgic these make me feel!! good humor please bring them back!!

I love love love these! I have been dreaming of them for so very long! My parents use to buy these for me when we lived in N.Y. oh how I love them! I miss them so! I am pregnant and I could consume box after box! My 4 year old daughter would be in heaven with these, I just know it! How do we convince Good Humor to get the production rolling on these little frozen pieces of heaven again?
Walt - September 17, 2011 - Report this comment
Wow! I was just informed of this site. I wish it would be so easy as to just write to Good Humor but...that isn't possible. I work it Disney licensing. We license companies to produce things either for us or for resale with a royalty (commission) to Disney. For instance, we at Disney don't make hats. We contract with a hat maker and we contracted with Good Humor to make those through about the late 90's before revoking authority to make products resembling or carry Disney characters. There are no plans to bring these back. The sales dropped over the years as parents sought more healthy treats and we simply must follow trends of the eras. Sorry folks.
A Dad - November 15, 2011 - Report this comment
I used to sing the jingle with my son. They are forever ingrained in my head - Disney Pops, fun to eat, Disney Pops, nice cool treat Disney Pops, eight great tastes, Disney Pops, taste real great Disney Pops, ask for more, Disney Pops, now at your store –or –or –or (Kids shouting) Disney Pops
Kristin - April 11, 2012 - Report this comment
These were THEE best tasting popsicles! They tasted like they were made with the BEST juice. The Red were my favorite...I never like grape-flavored ANYTHING, but I faintly remember even liking the purple variety of these!!
Lisa - June 10, 2012 - Report this comment
I have been looking and looking for these. They were the best. Nothing even compares to their taste. I take it that they aren't made anymore, what a shame. This era wants them back. What do all of you say? Let's start a petition. WE WANT THEM BACK. THIS COMES FROM A TRUE AMERICAN. Just a note to Walt from September 2011, If all of the fast food chains are still in operations and all they did was put a few salads on their menus, why can't you offer surprise packs of chewy vitamins. Make it like the Cracker Jacks or something like that. List all the ingredients and your covered. Make summer fun again, please.

How do you buy these
Erin T. Aardvark - May 27, 2015 - Report this comment
The unfortunate thing is they don't make these anymore. But I remember these were a staple of my freezer from the 80's. My sister and I would often feel the wrapper and guess which characters we were going to get, but it was hard to tell Goofy, Donald, and Pluto apart just by touch (Mickey and Minnie were easier). I loved the original flavors, but the tropical and pudding bars were good, too.

I ran an ice cream truck in the 80s and the Disney pudding pops and Disney ice pops (Shaped like Disney Characters) were my fastest selling items. That and bubblegum scoop ice cream cones. I would love to find Disney popsicle molds to make pudding pops for my grandchildren.

This is the only place I can find people talking about the Laser Blazer ice cream(?) bar. It didn't seem like ice cream, more like a creamy popsicle, if that makes sense. I used to get them when I was young, late 80's/early 90's. I can still picture the way they taste, and have yet to taste anything like it since! I would love to know if there is anything out there that tastes similar. Kind of like a cotton candy bubble gum hybrid. If anyone is interested you can find images of it by searching "Good Humor" and "80's". Some old ice cream truck menus are around with a Laser Blazer bar in the lower left corner. The bar on the menu looks more multi color than I remember. I remember it mostly being pink and blue swirls. I can find no other information about it other than the photos of the GH menu. I'm so glad I found the menu because I had no idea what it was called. I knew immediately when I saw it that I had found my childhood holy grail! Also, those Mickey's Parade pops were another favorite from back in the day!
