I love Donald Duck so much, but the juice wasn't that great. On the side of the juice carton, they had a comic strip though of Donald with his nephews.

I love donald duck orange juice, but I can't find it in my town. Sometimes I get lucky and find it in smaller towns. When I do I stock up!

This was the worst orange juice in the whole world. I would end up at some body's house and think I was sitting down to a wonderfully refreshing glass of OJ only to be jarred awake by the not so delightful tang delivered by the duck. Cute package though, very deceptive.

I remember this nasty juice from the 1960's. Came in a tiny steel can that a 9 millimeter bullet would bounce off of. Talk about sour, this stuff would really snap your head around. Drink it last or you won't be able to finish your bowl of cereal..ha ha

I grew up in DC and they had these cans of oj in liquor stores. I remember people picking up this oj and vodka on lunch breaks. I like the taste of it if you don't think of it as oj. Tastes a little like grapefruit.

I just bought some Best Choice orange juice in little cans like Donald Duck came in, and it taste exactly the same. It's awesome!! I'm thinking it's the can that makes it taste that way.

Had a whole rack for sale at Wal-Mart in Albuquerque today in the little tin cans with the pull tab. Exactly the same slightly-metallic taste as the 80s. Great stuff.

I found, and ordered, two 24-can cartons of Donald Duck OJ (my favorite) from Foodservicedirect.com at a reasonable price. I live in Forida, but no one in this state seems to sell it.

BORN AND RAISED IN MIAMI, FLORIDA I WAS SPOILED FROM DRINKING ALL THE PREMIUM BRANDS OF FRESH SQUEEZED FLORIDA OJ ( TROPICANA, SIMPLY ORANGE ETC ). FYI, ONE COUNTY IN FLORIDA PRODUCES MORE ORANGES THAN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. IT WASN'T UNTIL I JOINED THE ARMY THAT I ENCOUNTERED DDOJ. I WAS STATIONED IN GERMANY AT THE TIME ( 1984 ). I VISITED THE COMMISSARY ON BASE AND SAW A 2QT GLASS (JAR/JUG) OF THE STUFF. I WAS AMAZED OF HOW GREAT IT TASTED. KINDA REMINDED ME OF HOME. THE LABEL HAD A HEAD SHOT OF DONALD ON IT. THE LABEL STATED IT WAS MADE FROM FLORIDA ORANGES. I WAS HOOKED. HOWEVER, I HAVEN'T SEEN THE JUICE SINCE I LEFT GERMANY NOT EVEN HERE IN FLORIDA, GO FIGURE.

I loved this stuff. Wish I could get some now. It was unsweetened I believe or at least not loaded down with sugar or sweetners. Hence the reason many folks did not like it. However it was right up my alley and I loved it.

last night i got really drunk. we were supposed to go canoeing about 70 miles away from my house this morning but i sleeped in. we got lost on the way to the canoe place but saw some Amish folks with their buggy tied up to a post outside of a Piggly Wiggly and a radio shack. there was a car with a few dents in it in the parking as well. However, there were NO Amish people in the store. i went to purchase some questionable, yet refreshing looking Donald Duck Delight when I notice the cans were all rusty. i didn't buy it. i was sure i was in a piggley wiggley but i had no idea WHEN i was. it was a time warp.

Back in 1951, I was chosen to be a member of a Pop Warner football team, called the Las Vegas All-Stars. We were selected to play in the Santa Claus Bowl, in Lakeland, Florida in December, 1951. As we were traveling through Florida, on a chartered bus, I got off the bus to go to the bathroom in Chiefland, Florida. Soon, I found out that the bus had left me behind. Later, the authorities in Lakeland sent a special car to Chiefland to pick me up. The news media, soon, picked up this story, and game me the name of "THE LITTLE LOST BOY FROM LAS VEGAS." During our week's visit in Lakeland, we got to visit and tour the DONALD DUCK ORANGE JUICE COMPANY in Lake Wales, Florida. Both the TV stations and various city newspaper reporters took pictures of me with many of the owners and administrative staff of this orange juice company. I am hoping that someone can help me find these pictures and share them with me. I was 12 years old, at that time. Now, I am 72 years old and retired. Please help!!

PLEASE HELP!! It would be greatly appreciated,if someone in the archives, historical, or research departments of the DONALD DUCK ORANGE JUICE COMPANY would locate any pictures, newspaper clippings, or stories of me, "THE LITTLE LOST BOY FROM LAS VEGAS" during my visit/tour of the company, in December, 1951. I was a member of the Pop Warner Las Vegas All-Stars football team that played at the SANTA CLAUS BOWL in Lakeland, Florida. Thanks!!!

Juice is by far the best available in this country. I love the small cans because it makes the perfect drink. This is so much better and healthier than fresh squeezed. Give me the Donald...Does Trump own this brand?

Had Donald Duck orange juice as a kid. It was horrible then and it still tasted the same when I tried it as an adult. I thought all OJ was like that,so it ruined OJ for me until many years later. To this day, I think it has grapefruit juice mixed in.

As a child growing up in Florida, I recall my parents driving over to "Spook Hill" in Lake Wales. While there, I remember passing by what I now consider being the iconic large metal tower that featured Donald Duck Orange Juice label and picture of Donald above the orange groves in Lake Wales. I really miss that, in addition to the Orange Juice itself. It is sour, but I've eaten Florida Oranges off the tree, just as sour.

Every time I get sick, I drive to an IGA in my hometown in Kentucky just to get the individual pull-tab cans of Donald Duck Orange Juice. It still tastes the same after all this time. I take a sip and I go back about 25 years to childhood. It's not the best drink in the world, nor the healthiest, but it's the most comforting for me.

I was stationed in Germany in 1991 and they sold Donald Duck Orange Juice in the Commissary. Absolutely the best OJ I've ever had. I used to chill it ice cold in my mini fridge in the barracks and drink it in a short glass like a shock of scotch. It was by far my favorite OJ of all time. I haven't seen it in the States since I retired from Germany but I'll keep looking. I live in Dallas now so I'm sure I'll find it out here somewhere.

My mother used to buy the cans of frozen concentrate Donald Duck orange juice for us five kids and Dad in the 50's. I haven't seen it in years, but saw it the other day in cartons at Shoppers outside of Washington, D.C., last week. What a blast from the past. I've been all over the world in the Air Force, but haven't seen DDOJ since the early sixties. Where has it been? Was it sold under another brand? If I recall, Mom used to put a couple of tablespoons of sugar in the Tupperware pitcher she made the OJ in. For many of us, it's memories and nostalgia, and we really don't care what it tastes like.

According to my mom I had an allergic reaction to this oj in the 80's which caused me to have stripes on my body, said it was the weirdest thing.

Donald Duck OJ goes back to 1941. The Florida Citrus Cooperative was the primary company. It was concentrate sold both as frozen (in cans) and by the half-gallon carton, as well as clear glass bottles. Donald Duck, in the 1950s, had dozens of bottling plants around the country, to serve customers on a regional basis. A 1940s image of Donald always appeared, as part of the licensing agreement between Disney and Florida Citrus.
