fresca was NOT invented in the 1980's!! I remember drinking it in the 1960's and wikipedia says it was introduced in the US in 1963.
this drink is also NOT lemon-lime flavored. it is grapefruit. check your info dude!
I drink fresca now, it comes in many flavors, peach, black cherry and regular are the ones I'm familiar with.

It is a product of Coca-Cola. What is it with soda companies that they think you need 65 flavors of a soda? Fresca is supposed to be grapefruit flavored, that is what made it unique! Now I can't even find the "normal" Fresca, only the peach or black cherry. Ticks me off!!
You can still buy this drink in it's originality. The original is only sold in Michigan, because it's made here.
Enjoying Fresca's comeback...but the original formula had changed from the eighties.
Fresca was officially introduced in the U.S. in 1966. 2nd Diet Soda ever. First was Tab in 1963.
