I remember getting the frozen toes from the ice cream trucks that would drive through my neighborhood when I was growing up in El Paso,Texas in the early 80s! It wasn't the best tasting ice cream, but for some reason it was really popular with the kids in my neighborhood. About three years ago I was at a park and stopped an ice cream truck to see if they still sold em, but the driver had no idea what a frozen toe was.
