Description
Fun dip, the koolaid-esque powder with a white candy dipping stick hails from the 80's if I'm not mistaken, as does fizz fun, they were small hard candies wrapped in plastic that came in strips of five, and when you'd bite into them, they'd fizz up.

No, you would suck on the candy stick and then dip it into the powder pouches and the powder would adhere to the candy sticks.

Whwn Iwas younger, I would go to the dribe-ins with my parents and older brother and we would stop to buy some treats for the movie. I would buy some fun-dip. I loved it. You can still buy it today.

This was the main staple when I was in little league. I'd go to the snackbar and get fun-dip and a pack of big league chew. Fun dip came in either a huge pouch, with one flavor. Or a 3 flavor pack with a small candy stick. The stick was white and as hard as cement and tastes like generic bland candy. It almost looked like a peice of chalk.

My favorite part believe it or not was the stick. I'd go through the tangy powder in a hurry just so I could bite down on that hard stick.

We would eat them as kids and the powder would eventually make your tongue bleed from licking it so much

I don't remember getting these a whole lot. They tasted alright, but were pretty messy to eat.

The best was the four-flavor pack. You have to love the concept: take a stick made out of sugar and dip it in different flavored sugars to enhance your sugar experience.

Yep, the four pack was the best. A veritable saccharide orgy with two sticks that would leave your pancreas screaming for mercy and your mom wondering why she bought it for you. The grape was the best. I'd go by the book for a while, licking the stick and dipping it, but after a while, the amount of powder the stick could carry just wasn't satisfying, and I was getting impatient to bite into those sticks (which were something like solid maltose)... I'll never become a sugar-crazed delinquent this way! I'd tip the pack and eat the powder straight, in big immoderate mouthfuls, then lay into the sticks, busting my baby teeth on the ceramic-like lik-a-stiks, just trying to cram myself full of what I needed to achieve a head-spinning, frantic full-on sugar trip... The packet maight have been made out of sugar, too, I wouldn't be surprised.

Aww these were great! I remember me and my friend used to experiment with each other and we used to sneak off and I would pour this on her bum and enjoy!

Used to buy these as a kid whenever I would go to the drive-in theaters with my family.
