Fat Frog was my most favorite ice cream from the ice cream man in the 80s! I would be up and out of that pool so fast to get at the ice cream truck. Then, the sad day came when they discontinued the fat frog. A very sad childhood memory!

Fat Frog was sooooo good...mmmm I wish I had one right this minute...remember it had the thin chocolate layer in the back....they seriously need to bring the fat frog back man!!

Fat Frog was one of the best creations of the 80's. It was perfect...creamy ice cream, a chocolate back, and gumball eyes. What could a kid love more? Good Humor needs to rock their trucks with some Fat Frogs!!

I loved the fat frog! The first time I had one was in '86 on vacation. I was only 7, and I had a green dump later that evening. I was scared as I had never poo'd green before so I yelled for my mom. Good times!

I thought I was the last person who remembered Fat Frog! I love that ice cream! Bring it back! I even remember the commercial on TV. Somebody needs to post it on YouTube!

LOVE Fat Frog! It was my fav ice cream in the 80s. I actually emailed Good Humor and told them they should bring it back even if only for a limited time. They responded just to tell me they are discontinued. Everyone should go to Goodhumor.com and email! Let's make them bring it back!

I LOVED fat frog. My boyfriend and I are remembering that creamy heaven on a stick right now! They have to bring him back. No child should ever have to live not knowing the amazingness of that chubby little guy!

These were the BEST! I used to get them from the rogue ice cream truck in my neighborhood. Got in trouble for it, too. When the parents found out there was a truck near the school, they shut down our "operation" with the ice cream man. Not sure I have come to terms with it today... Funny how memories like this mean so much. Glad I was not alone in loving these!

Fat Frogs were the best ice cream creation ever invented! Never failed to turn your poop green, but the yummy creamy goodness of the green ice cream was worth every lick. I can almost conjure up the unique flavor of Green and taste it 18 years later! What I wouldn't give for them to bring those back. Glad to see others who remember and appreciate the wonder that was Fat Frog :)

Before today I never knew what that wonderful ice cream bar was called!.....but i remember it sooooo well!!!! I had it in the 90's while i was in camp and i have never been able to find anything similar. To this day I always check the sides of ice cream trucks to see if i see the fat frog :-(

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that still can't stop thinking about Fat Frog every time I see an ice cream truck. So sad.

oh my gosh! I've been trying to figure out if it was discontinued or not forever! I used to go down to long beach island every summer and I would always always get the green fat frog ice cream! I never stopped looking until i guess now- we all need to start a petition to good humor to get fat frog back you guys!

I was just on the ocean city new jersey boardwalk and got a fat frog! I loved these when I was a kid in the 80's. Sadly, it's not the same flavor, it is now apple-melon flavor. Still a nice trip down memory lane. Popsicle brand makes the new ones.

ya, i used to love these to in the early to mid eighties. I think the eyes were M&M's,not gumballs like somebody was saying. The crisp yet delicate choclate layer provided a great textural contrast the green ice cream. I remember being outside playing and we'd hear the ice cream truck song and go bug our parents for money. Such good days.

Along with Bubble O'Bill and Ice Stripes, my favorite thing to get off the ice cream truck in Brooklyn 1984-85

Amazingly, the local ice cream truck by my neighborhood in NJ had these for a couple of months back in 2013. Then they came around again and told me they were discontinued suddenly. I actually still have the wrapper. I loved these as a kid and couldn't find them. So to find them again after all this time only to watch them vanish once more just hurts. Fat Frog is love, people. And I love Fat Frogs.

Had a Fat Frog the first time I ever encountered an ice cream truck and never looked back. Have looked for them for years in the Good Humor ice cream bins...20 years of disappointment! BRING BACK THE FAT FROG!

My Pa would always buy me this ice cream when he visited. We would go on an adventure as he called it and would end up at our local milk bar where we would buy a fat frog. When he passed away in 1984 they were discontinued a couple of weeks later. This was the greatest of ice creams.

I do remember having this Streets Fat Frog Ice Cream Product a number of time here in Queensland, Australia sometime between (1984) & (1987). The Green Coloured Flavoured Vanilla Ice Cream on the front & the chocolate dip is on the back. With the two round coloured lollies as eyes on the front.

The Fat Frog is my ultimate favorite ice cream ever! I just recently discovered that the flavor wasn’t vanilla- it was more a little bit of pistachio. I found a close second to it- Jello pistachio Flavored pudding made with heavy whipping cream. I promise you it’ll bring back Fat Frog memories.

I LOVE that there is a place on the web where we can all vent about the sad loss of this delicious treat. I am a little confused about all of these bubble gum references though. Fat Frog def had M&M type candy. No bubble gum. Let’s all hit up good humor and see if we can bring it back!
