These nachos were the best! I wish they would come back.

I miss these so much, I think about them every few months but cannot duplicate the chili :(

They had it dialed! What ever nuclear cheese they were using was terrific. I remember that the chips would be somewhat limp by the time you got them home. They were served on a circular plate (black) with a clear plastic dome. They were so good!

Yup, I loved them too. Especially when one particular guy prepared them, he would always put two ladles of cheese on them, instead of the regulation one ladle. I can still taste them!

Wow! I can't believe there are other Jack in the Box Nachos followers. I absolutely love them and I wish they would bring them back. I too love the way the bottom chips would soften from the cheese and I can't forget the jalapenos sprinkled on top. Yum! Yum! Yum!

OMG, I miss these so much. I'd get them with the jalapenos on but then pick them off (I loved the juice from the jalapenos). The chips would soften and meld with teh cheese sauce and make a weird mass that tasted sooo good! I loved them, I miss them.

WOW! I thought I was the only one who craved these damn nachos! Every time I go to Jack in the Box, I look to see it they've brought them back! Nothing compares!

Loved them, I'd get the regular cheese with jalapeños, and an order of the supremes (that was when I was in my teens and could still do that and not gain 20lbs). JITB needs to bring these back for us die hards.

I can't believe all this writing about this!!!!???!! My cousin and I were talking about these nachos the other day when we were at Tommy's. "Wouldn't it be nice if they brought them back?". The soft chips at the bottom in a soupy swirl of meat/cheese sauce. mmmmm. 1985 - We would drive around after parties at night looking for a Jack shop....please bring them back.

You are all painfully messed up people. I know this because i live with one of your kind. Should this ever go anywhere, should the great and hallowed Nacho return....then, and only then shall i find true peace. Everytime we pass a JITB or even see those danged commercials(hate the lateset one BTW), she tells me how great they were and they need to bring them back. Sorry, it was TAco Bell or nothing for me in those days. My town couldn't support a JITB and a TB at the same time. Anyways, good luck on the getting your "Heart Stopper Special" back on the menu. OMG! Jack in the Box nachos were the BEST! I remeber my cousin and I would jump on our bikes and go get us some nachos, come home and sit in front of the tv. It was so much fun! Good ol days. Del Taco comes close but definately not the same. Those Jack in the box nachos were just soooo good! We've even written a letter to them but no dice.

After I left my comment on 10.13.08 I called JITB. They were extremely nice and said they listen to all requests. The lady then asked if I noticed their Nacho Tacos. After a long silence, I said "Don't try to sell me on something new...". She laughed and then offered me a JITB T-Shirt and Antennae Ball. Cool, but I want the Super Nachos back. Del Taco is right up there, but we need the nachos...

I somehow feel kin to all of you, I too thought I was the only one that dreamed still to this day of these nachos. I was 9 in 85 and this is the only thing i remember of my childhood haha the thoughts of those soggy nachos to this day bring back great memories

Good news. They are BACK!!!

They're back, where? When?

No, it's not real nachos that are back. They are reportedly coming out with (or have already come out with) a product called 'Taco Nachos' which consists of two tacos, cut into thirds, on a bed of lettuce, topped with nacho cheese, melting Monterrey Jack cheese, jalepenos and comes with f fire-roasted salsa on the side.

Loved these as a late on a Friday or Saturday night snack. I never did like though when I'd get the Jack In The Box employee that somehow managed to miss all but two chips with the ladel of cheese. That has to be a skill in itself.

I was so excited when I saw the sign in thier window thought it was the ones I remember, I guess we need to keep bugging them.

Reading these posts it's good to know I'm not the only one who's crazy about Jack in the box nacho's. It brings back memories. Anyone remember the steak, chicken, and shrimp dinners the used to sell? Came w/garlic bread and wedge fries.

WOW. I thought that I was the only person that crave JNB the Nachos. Brings back memories... late 80's and going every sunday, after church, removing the plastic cover or the round plate and taking the first whiff of the ground beef. JACK BRING THEM BACK!!!!

Yes, they really need to bring back their nacho's! Very delicious! I still remember the hard paper plate and the plastic top! I miss that and the nachos were the best! Better than Taco Bell!
