Kaboom (1969 to present) is a clown. His toasted oat cereal is multi-colored and shaped like smiling clown faces and marshmallow stars. To the right is how the clown looked in 1976, and the box is from 1979. Quentin Tarantino's 2003 movie "Kill Bill Vol. 1" included a scene in which Vernita Green pulls a weapon out of a box Kaboom cereal in an ill-fated attempt to eliminate the Bride

This was my FAVORITE growing up. I didn't see it for years and then found it in South Carolina a few years back. I still love it. The cereal is not that sweet, compared to similar ones today like lucky charms. Its more tangy like orangey/limey. YUM.
