Keebler also had a butter nibbler as well. They were one of my most favorite pretzels I ever had. Old Dutch makes a butter braid. It is pretty good, but I miss the Keebler's.

These were the BEST, so buttery, you tasted butter more than pretzel, I didn't know they stopped making them, have been looking for them for a year now!!!

I loved the keebler pretzels, especially the nibblers just right for quick snack food. They do need to bring them back. ..why do ALL the good stuff always get discontinued with just about every company. ..I don't get it ..just decreased sales..

I guess my question has been answered. Keebler butter braid pretzels came to my mind the other day. I remembered how great they tasted and wondered if they still make them. Guess not...darn! They should really bring them back!

Keebler is a company in big trouble. There are great number of their products that were once popular and are no longer made. Seen a Keebler elf lately?

I understand everyone's love of these pretzels. My dad used to get them and I thought these were the greatest snack of all time. Then they disappeared. For those who are interested, 1. they were called butter braids as was suggested earlier in the thread, and 2. if you want them again, search for Harvest Road Spinzels. Same recipe, available at Menards if you have one. They come in a 32 oz. tub.

Was thinking about these pretzels the other day when going through the snack aisle at my local Acme. I remember the red bag, Keebler name and how good these pretzels were, but couldn't find much info online. Fast-forward a couple days and I'm watching Trading Places on TV, which came out the year I was born, and I noticed that baggage handler, Al Franken, is eating/holding a bag of these pretzels as he passes Eddie Murphy on the train. Good movie, great pretzels. Side note, I also used to love Planters Cheez Curls, in the blue cylinder, with the yellow lid. They stopped making them for years and then I saw they brought them back. I excitedly bought a cylinder, telling my kids how good they were, but they ended up tasting like crap. Nowhere near as good as they used to.

Good info that Menards carry the Spinzels. Will have to try it. Just bought Snyders New Pretzel Rounds, Butter Flavor, it's good but not quite the butter flavor as Keebler.
