It is still possible to get them somewhere. Seems like I've seen them in a few vending machines.

According to wikipedia, they were formerly marketed by Keebler but now by Poore Brothers under the brand name TGI FRIDAYS & perhaps others. I have seen one similar product sold under a similar name (but of lesser quality).

"Potato Skins got baked potato appeal, 'cause they're made with potatoes and skins that are real!" :)

Nice Dex, I love that jingle! Tato (not Tater) Skins came out in 1985 and came in baked potato, cheddar cheese and bacon, sour cream and chives, and later on (1987), bbq.

That picture of the bag brought back so many memories. Thanks for posting that. I feel like I can touch it. So funny the 1/2 pound is only $1.39! Great job to you!

I was practically addicted to these snacks when I was young. These were insanely good (not that other snack foods from the 1980s weren't good, of course). I miss Tater Skins.

Whoops...typo. I meant TATO SKINS, not Tater Skins.
