Description
This was a breakfast cereal in the shape of small animals, like tiny animal crackers. Mid-80's. One time came with a Krispy Kritters golden book. Still have it.

I am so glad that someone else remembers them. I thought I was losing it. I couldn't get any of my friends or family to remember this cereal. I had the book too!

Post Cereals first came out with Krispy Kritters in the mid 1960's when I was..a LOT younger than I was in the 80's. I guess I was obsessed too since I got here by Googling the words "call for Orange Moose" which had come back to me in connection with our rather large orange cat. Ad jingles stick even when you've forgotten where you put your glasses.

Who could forget the commercials jingle? “Hello my name is Crispy, how do you do? Crispy Critters cereal’s entirely new, its indubitably, indubitably, indubitably, indubitably delicious!!” LOL!

I actually, as a kid, refused to buy these because I thought the commercial was stupid. One of my friends used to bring them to school in her lunch and share them with me at one point, though, and they weren't bad-- typical 80s sugary kids' cereal. I guess I was thinking that if I accepted them from someone else, it didn't really count.

Crispy Critters. With C's not K's. Originally came out in the 60s but was discontinued, and then came out again in 87 and didn't last then either, indubitably delicious or not!
