I recall Lipton's Alligator Soup (the gator-shaped noodle) as having a very chewy texture, making it very distinctive from Bigfoot, Kraft Dinner, or any pasta based around this era. I would donate all of my organs to have this SIMPLE soup back (except my tastebuds, of course). PETITION TIME, PEOPLE! its time Lipton brings back their soup so our children may experience that same great childhood lunch-time snack!

I would love to have this soup back! I remember having it when I was little and I have been looking for it everywhere! Who do we contact to get this awesome stuff back on the shelves?!

I would also give anything to get the alligator soup back. Is there a formal thing going on, or are we just reminiscing? I will put my name anywhere and i would seriously pay 50 dollars for a box of that soup. How pathetic is that? lol

I would love to have this soup on the market again. We're on our second generation, and when our grand-daughters get sick we all say the same thing; only Liptons Alligator soup can make you better! Too bad the shelves aren't stocked with this one!!

Alright guys, it's been about a year since I've first posted my message on this forum, and, well...I'm leaving Canada to live in Australia soon (where I might literally have Alligator Soup), BUT before I do that, I'm going to get on the phone with Lipton and ask around, maybe we could actually get a feasible petition out of this!! I'll post my findings later this week. For the time being, I URGE ANYONE READING THIS TO DO THE SAME!! If they're presented with numerous call pertaining to the same request, they'll form some inquest on the matter, one of which may be our petition route. ..and we all know Lipton would fight to keep that wholesome, family-themed name, by listening to it's consumers. (at least I hope)

I am currently sick and my boyfriend came home and asked what would I like from town, being the sweet guy he is. So I say a movie, booster juice and then as he is walking down the stairs I yelled " Alligator Soup" of course he asked what, what is that. Simple Alligator soup. He had never heard of it, I was shocked. I told him it will make he better, the alligator will eat the germs in me. Tee Hee. I remember my parents giving it to me when I was sick. So he phoned me from the store asking about it again and, everyone he asked at the store had no clue. So I asked my mom about it, she remembers it. So now I looked it up on the net, and there is other people who miss it too. It has to be around twenty years since I have had it. It needs to come back, so others can enjoy the amazing Alligators, Big foot was cool too :)

Hey guys! Update! The following is from an email I sent and recieved early this March: Hello, I'm going to be short and blunt about this. Please bring back "Alligator Soup". You know...the chicken noodle soup you had on Canadian supermarket shelves in the 1980's and 1990's. If you can't do this, do you know where I can get some? I want my future children to share the same joy I had! I love you, Lipton! Please love your fans by bringing this product back!! ----------------------------------------------- From:Info,Homebasics (Homebasics.Info@unilever.com) Sent: March 5, 2009 10:01:20 AM To:Garrett Hi Garrett, Thank you for writing! Sadly, all I have left is this board... No alligator soup...until enough of us, and I mean hundreds or thousands - rise up and voice our demand for the return of this soup (provided they don't screw it up). Oh, and Petey: yeah, I'd hang onto that doll! Think about all those old Coca-Cola collectors items & how much they're worth! keep onto that and when your grandkids are grandparents, it'll be this ancient, priceless relic! :)
