Description
There were a handfull of glass jarred ready-to-eat pastas in the 80s. I always thought this was the next advance beyond the nasty canned pasta, boy was I wrong! This stuff was SO GOOD I would say it was even better than some frozen pastas of today. Where did it go, and why hasn't anyone brought back this great idea? They put Ragu in jar, this just had the pasta too. It holds MUCH better flavor than canned, and stores way easier than frozen. It was also better than those plastic microwave ones they have by Hormel or whoever. I might have the "Leonne's" spelled wrong. Thanks for a great site! Dave

My nanny used keep jars of this spaghetti around for when id come and sleep over when I was little and I swear I can still taste the tanginess of the sauce to this day!! I remember eating it room temp too. I can't believe they stopped making it. One of the many great but gone things from the 80s I wish they'd bring back.

I remember buying this at Winn Dixie. Every Saturday I would get 2 jars and eat both of them as soon as I got home straight from the jar. I wish it would be made again!

OMG, I remember this! We would beg mom for Mama Leone's Ravioli's just about every day after school. I wish I could find it again as it's been something I've wanted a bowl of for a very long time! :)
