These were crazy. They came with a shaker bag, and you could choose flavours like BBQ and Sour Cream and Onion, and what you did was sprikle the powder in the bag with the fries, give them a good shake, and enjoy!

We had them in Ontario for about a month in June-July, 1995. I loved them. I was sad when they were discontinued. Never have seen them since.

Their Back. . . Might of been referencing the baby back rib flavour, popular in August 1995 in Alice Springs, Australia. Also Kalis - Milkshake was actually reffering to milk flavoured Shakers, not the junk in her trunk as most mistakingly believe. I also believe Sander should have his life revoked, death by a 1000 shakers would be a suitable punishment.

"Also Kalis - Milkshake was actually reffering to milk flavoured Shakers, not the junk in her trunk as most mistakingly believe."....That has to be the dumbest and funniest comment I've seen for a while. Repeat it at your peril !!

I remember these well. I don't like sour cream and onion anything, but those fries were the best. Great childhood memory I'd like revisit. Come back to Canada!!

There is a Fox article from June 2013 about Shaker Fries being introduced to the US soon after their popularity in Asia. So far I haven't heard anything else about this. From the comments on this board it seems they were most popular after the 90's in Canada and Australia
