Description
I remember there being a cake mix, can't remember by who, but you had everything you needed in the box. It had a special microwaveable cardboard "pan", the batter mix and a packet of frosting. All you did was add water I believe, mix the batter up and jam it in the mic. Then when it was done, you squeezed out the frosting and spread on top. I loved those guys

I remember those. I believe they were made by Betty Crocker, but I can't remember the name of them. Betty Crocker singles or something like that? They were delicious and easy to make.

There was also a version made by Pillsbury. They even had the bundt variety too. The plastic pan was in the box. I especially loved the chocolate bundt variety that had a "tunnel of fudge" in the middle and chocolate drizzled on top. I wish Pillsbury would bring them back!

There were probably plenty of different types but one was called Micro Raves by Betty Crocker and came out in 1989. It was available in either cake or brownies

I should point out that Pillsbury probably had the first one on the market way back in 1986. In that commercial they claim that they are the only one with a mix made especially for the microwave.

I had them much earlier than 1986!!! We had them back in 1980-1983. My sister used to make them for us in our playroom and it was always the carrot cake with white icing of some sort. We were on an Air Force base in Germany but we'd buy them in American stores. I've been looking for these. Nobody knows the name?
