Description
It was a sweetened cereal, and the box had comics on it, and the front of the box opened like a flap so there was more funnies. Good reading.

I used to love these, they would get a weird texture mushy and kind of slimy.

Morning Funnies was by Ralston. Comics on the box included Beetle Bailey, Family Circus, Hi and Lois and then newcomer, Luann. Early on, Luann was in middle school. Now, somewhere between college and employment. Took 30 years for her to grow from 14 to 25.

Found a comic book ad for Morning Funnies inside issues #1 of Archie 3000 and Dilton's Strange Science from 1989. Cereal was multi-colored with happy faces. Beetle Bailey, Hagar the Horrible and Funky Winkerbeen were also shown. In the comic books, the Archie gang is seen a thousand years from now. Boy genius Dilton gained a girl (genius) friend, and the two deal with off-the wall sci-fi situations.
