Love it tons and always will. Ever since I was a child.

Yep, still love it. I used to pretend with the Strawberry powder that it was a secret potion that would give me super powers, lol. I was a dork. Still am, really.

Nestle Quix is just as good as Ovaltine if not better. I could mix this all day with my milk if I had enough of both. The vanilla isn't bad even though it still looks like plain old milk after you mix it. I even tried strawberry once and the taste was more unique than anything. But the chocolate is to live for!

Maybe it is a regional or distributor thing, by Strawberry is still readily available in the Indianapolis market. I have a fresh box in my cabinet right now.

I remember putting waaaaay too much into my milk and eventually, not being a milk fanatic, disregarding the milk altogether... :) Pretty nasty like that, but strangely I still felt drawn to eat a spoonful or two once in a while (as a kid).

Remember the vanilla quik? I think it had a polar bear on the package?

ok, so everyone thinks im crazy but they came out with a cookies and cream flavor that was soooo good. I believe it was more in the 90s but just wanted to put that out there. They took it away for no good reason :(

You can occasionally find this permade in places like gas staions, but recently the flavor seems to have changed and isn't quite as artificial as before and it's just ruined now. It reminded me of Jello Pudding pops

Came out in 1948. The powders and syrups are only available in chocolate and strawberry but the ready made little pint-size drinks are available in assorted wacky flavors.

Wow I'm old. Doesn't anyone remember? Banana Quik. And evidently it can still be found in Europe. I just googled it, and you can order it from across the pond, don't know why they don't sell it in the states any more. Well, I guess I can. It was the best though.

I'm not a chocolate milk fan per se.

Quik changed its name to Nesquik. (By the way, it's QUIK, not QWIK.)
Isac - May 22, 2016 - Report this comment
I don't care much for chocolate Nesquik, let alone strawberry Nesquik.

Anybody else take quik to school inside a little foil package? I used to take some and add it to my cafeteria milk. Mmmmmm I remember some of my classmates would always want me to spot them a little for their milks too. lol
