Description
Cereal that came in two bags, with characters such as Mario and Zelda. The cereal sucked, but the concept was cool.

I remember seeing the commercial for this cereal for the first time. They called it the Nintendo Cereal System. It was two different flavors, the Super Mario Bros. cereal was a fruit flavor somewhat like Fruity Pebbles, while the Zelda flavor was more of a berry flavor. And of course, each cereal was in the shapes of various characters from the games. I remember the Super Mario Bros. kind tasting pretty decent, but the Zelda tasted horrible. However, being a kid, and a Nintendo junkie, I still ate it.

I remember this cereal, it was in a big cereal box with the same look as a box of nerds, it had two compartments with the 2 different flavors. One year for Halloween I remember trick or treating at this nice house and the man at the door passed out this box of cereal to all the kids instead of candy! I thought it was cool at the time but as the night went on it became a nussence because the box was huge and I was like.. " How do I trick or Treat with my pillow case and also carrying this big ol box of cereal! :)
