A chimichanga is basically a fried burrito. I THINK they were bean and cheese, pre-fried golden, and roughly eight inches in length by 2-3 inches wide, and two per package. Inside-out pack description: The packaging was the same unremarkable rectangular, paper-based, sort of "bowl" which contained the product. This was th en surrounded by a cellophane-like bag and finally encased in the standard sort of frozen food box with the Old El Paso colors & motifs. These were amazingly delicious and were a staple of my diet in the mid to late 1980's. They sold extremely well in the supermarket, so I don't know why they stopped making them. I think they were discontinued in the early '90's. I'd give a lot to taste one again as well as the ORIGINAL taste-formulas for Count Chocula & Cocoa Puffs cereals. They raped my childhood when they changed those.
