Description
Giant sized oreos that came packaged in individual cellophane wrappers and about six to a box. They were large....about 4 inches across and a godsend to those who'd twist apart oroeos and stick em together to make a larger cookie. Took a big glass of milk though!

I can't imagine a plac not selling Oreo cookies. I live in the US and always have eaten Oreos. I love the big stuff ones better than the regulars. They have so many different kinds of fillings now.

Oh yeah, I remember these! I never left any part untouched once I got a hold of one. As a kid I would have had no problem eating 3-4 at a time but I usually had just one.

As a Canadian living in the uk, I was devastated to see no oreos in sight here. Luckily they have recently launched here. Just plain old ones though. My son loves them now!

For an oreo lover like me these were the BEST! I remember my parents would bring them home whenever they saw them out (they didn't sell them around where we lived). Bring them back man!

OMG--I remember the Nabisco company had a plant close to downtown...everyday at 1:00 you could walk outside to be hit with the awesome aroma of Oreos baking...they torn the plant down, in the 90's....what a sad day for Houston, and for those of us who loved the wonderful aromas as much as the wonderful cookie! There was also a canning plant close to it, if you were not smelling cookies, you were smelling green beans....those were the days!

I miss these!!!! They were my favorite! I still remember the jingle. I bought Oreo Cakesters because I thought they would be somewhat similar(amount of filling). They were terrible! Bring Big Stuff back!!!

I feel like I've found my peeps. I can relate to all the memories and frustrations you guys shared. And yes, those born in the 90's are really missing out. Not a year goes by that I don't reminise about the Big Stuffs, and sing that catchy jingle...

I loved the oreo big stuffs. I think about them often. With the craze toward nostalgic foods nowadays they should bring these back as a limited run available for order over the internet or something. I can buy Quisp cereal and even Space Food Sticks (Remember those)from a web site. I would pay 4 or 5 bucks for a big stuff oreo. Maybe $50 for a box.

High school hijinks from the prime time TV vault. First, commercial with kids bringing Oreo Big Stuff cookies into school. Slogan: The Big O To Go. This aired on "Head of the Class" over ABC in May, 1987. Very good sitcom with Howard Hesseman and Robin Givens Hesseman left after the third season, but returned for a cameo in the finale. Second commercial for Oreos with people of different age groups dunking them in milk. This aired on "Square Pegs" over CBS (10/11/82). The classic Pac Man Fever episode, with Marshall getting hooked on the game, installed in school as a fund raiser. Geek girls Patty and Amy get SNL character Guido Sarduchi to "exorcise" Marshall from the game when his grades start to fall. "Square Pegs" wasn't well received, lasting only 20 episodes in a single season. Sarah Jessica Parker went big time. The others didn't, though Tracy Nelson (daughter of Rick and Kristin) did co-star, as a nun, with Tom Bosley on "Father Dowling Mysteries" in the late 1980s.
