Description
It was a Chunky sized candy, with a square cookie base and a huge amount of peanut butter on top covered in milk chocolate. I remember eating these in the late 80s, they were the best!

I enjoy eating PB Max in the late 80's and early 90's, but why did they stop making them? Please bring them back to the 21st century because I missed eating them.

MAN these were good! Why did these get discontinued? They were delicious and the advertising was good (the commercials were hilarious). They really need to make a comeback!

Someone help me! I've been searching for a candy bar from my youth. It's like PB Maxx, but came out earlier - early 80s or late 70s. It had a cookie base, but had peanut butter and JAM and was covered in chocolate. The TV commercial had a space lady who came down to earth to extol the virtues of this candy. Does anyone remember this??

I loved PB Maxx more than life itself. If I ever see another one I may just try to make love to it. I would sell my soul and disown my parents for just one more bite. Where did you go my sweet PB Maxx, How I miss you so?

To those who haven't tried they're missing out. These were the best peanut butter candies during the time. They definitely need to revive this rich candy for all to try.

The commericals were hilarious where they'd ask what PB Maxx stood for and they'd say something like "Pretty Beautiful" and stuff.

yes, early 90s...the greatest candy bar ever! i always looked for that when stopped for a fill-up. a big advertising campaign put them on the market quickly, but they disappeared in no time.

They tried to make them less expenive by making them 2 smaller with less peanut butter. They said "bigger value" but the total weight was less. They didn't taste the same amd saled flundered. I remember writing at the time and they siad "market research" indicated that the smaller bars were preferable to consumers. I did see the name on this flavored peanut butter Bought that and it was awful.

Greatest stoner snack of all time; I remember polishing off an entire wholesale club box in a single night (with the help of two friends). Stoning is long behind me but I would love to see them again.

PB Maxx was the best. Who wants to bet the reason the candy was discontinued is that Reese's sued them for copyright infringement?
