To whom it may concern: I enjoy eating Peanut Butter Boppers in the 80's, but why did they discontinue the product? Please bring them back into the 21st century because I missed eating them so much.

I remember Peanut Butter Boppers (they were always on the top shelf at the grocery store). And from what I can remember, they were somewhat pricey and not around very long. I LOVED THEM!

My mom would pack Peanut Butter Boppers in my lunch everyday and that was always one of the highlights of my day. I'm so sad that they got discontinued. Yes Kai, The Lost Boys was evidence that I was not just a crazykindergartner who made up this deliscious treat they actually did exist. Whoever typed the above description was wrong because it was a log of peanut butter dipped in chocolate then dipped in peanuts!! YUM!!!!

I am 32 years old, and would love to pack peanut butter boppers in my daughter's lunch!! I am going to go rent The Lost Boys, just to see that part! I remember begging my mom to buy them for me when I was a kid!

Omg! I was just discussing this product with co-workers, which NO ONE seems to remember! It was the best peanut butter treat ever invented and it was every other commercial on TV! I want them back too!!! I too am 32, so it must have been our time, Patty:)

Peanut Butter Boppers were one of the best snacks growing up! I am 30 years old and remember them fondly. I didn't have them all the time, but when I did they were extra special. I remember them being on the top of the shelf at the grocery store too!
Meg - March 13, 2008 - Report this comment
Yes! There is a scene in the Lost Boys where you see the box of them!
erik - March 21, 2008 - Report this comment
who made them?
Meg - March 25, 2008 - Report this comment
I'm not sure who made them, but I totally remember that yes they were on the top self at the store because I could never reach them, my mom would get them only as a treat everyonce and awile. I don't see why they would stop making them, I bet they would see really well these days!

I've been searching for Peanut Butter Boppers for two decades! We used to sell them at my junior high's student store. How do we get an online petition going to the manufacturer to bring them back?!?
Jes - July 02, 2008 - Report this comment
I will sooo sign that petition! they were the best.

BRING BACK BOPPERS!!! Generation X needs a peanut butter bopper fix!
Daler the Whaler - March 09, 2009 - Report this comment
I sent an email to Nature Valley inquiring about PBB. Their half-ass response: "PBB were discontinued due to a lack of sales and interest in the product. There are no plans to revive this item." What kind of answer is that? These guys have the same mentality of the execs that brought down the banking system. No wonder we're all pissed. They WERE the best!!! Should have been sold in the candy isle and the snack isle. Beats Reese's flat. Oh I get MAD dammit!
MrTroy - March 09, 2009 - Report this comment
No offense "Daler the Whaler", but what are they supposed to say? Usually you get something even MORE generic like "Thank you for your interest, this item has been discontinued with no plans of bringing it back".
Gwen - March 11, 2009 - Report this comment
I loved these. I want one right now!

yes, they were the best snack treat a kid could ask for. I have no idea why they wouldn't bring them back. People would be all over it.

I will be 32 next month and like all the others here believe this was the best PB snack ever made. I have been talking about and looking for this product for the last two decades. My wife and friends think i am crazy becasue they dont remember the awsome PB Boppers. I wish there was a way to bring these back or at least release the recipt so we can make them ourselves.

I loved peanut butter boppers....we should all call Nature Valley on the same day and just inundate them with requests to bring back PBBs!!!! Maybe they'd get so annoyed they'd do it. RIP PBBs
Susy - October 28, 2009 - Report this comment
OMG. I just can not belive with the amount of people that loved these Boppers, and Nature Valley has not brought them back. What is wrong with these people????? I am not much of a Granola person so those other bars do not do any thing for me.

I literally just had a conversation with people at work, and 90% of these posts were our conversation... the packaging, the Lost Boys reference as proof of their existence, the mouth-watering peanut butter. I am 32 as well. Nature Valley thinks they didn't have an interest back in the day. However, they hooked us as kids, and we'd still buy them, and we'd buy them for our kids. So their market has already doubled. All they need to do is sell them. I might send them this entire thread... which started 2 and a half years ago, haha!
