Description
Tortilla chips loaded with jalapeno flavored seasoning. I don't know if they were their own company or if FritoLay owned them but they were my favorite - hot & spicy!

Indeed, these were actually spicy chips, unlike the over-marketed, under-spiced Doritos today. Plus Pepitos weren't encased in fake cheese and didn't turn your fingers orange. Nice crisp chip with plenty of hotness.

Yes! They were in a class of their own. They were my favorite. I sometimes feel like my memory of them is a hallucination because most people have never heard of them. The recent Habanero Doritos come close in spiciness, but do have the unidentified orange pseudo-queso coating.

Still my fave chip, ever! The long since discontinued (I think) taco-flavored Doritos were close. Think they were Frito-Lay.
