Description
I think this came out in the late 80s--it was chocolate or vanilla frosting with little candy bits in it. There was Pillsbury Funfetti Cake Mix to go with it.

i used to get the pink frosted animal cookies and a jar of this icing and would eat them together! (My own version of Dunkaroos when I couldnt find them!)

They still make the Funfetti cake mixes & frosting, but they've since changed the frosting part so it no longer comes with those awesome candy bits mixed in. Just sprinkles for the top. NOT AS TASTY!! Remember how those mysterious candy nibs used to just melt in your mouth?? Funfetti is way too sweet for me now, but my fiance absolutely loves it. I have to make it for him & his crew every time a holiday rolls around and brings a new Funfetti mix to herald it in a manner proper. (Christmas-themed is the worst. Mint-green icing and green sprinkles that make baked cake look mold-flecked.) Gag! They love it, though. They will eat gigantic slices of it first thing in the morning. Isn't that horrid??
