Description
Seemed like you couldn't throw a party in the 80s without breaking open a couple mega-size cans of Planters Cheese Balls, Cheese Curls or Cheese Puffs. The cans were blue with bright yellow plastic tops. You still see them in the stores today ... but who buys them?

Does anyone remember Planters Potato Crunchies that came in a can? They were shaped like the crunchy cheese puffs, and they were great! I'm not sure if they were just a promo item in my area of New York, or what.

OMG... Jennifer... I loved the Potato Crunchies. I craved them when I was pregnant in 83. I bought them in Kansas. I sure wish they would make these again!! I still crave them.

I loved Potato Crunchies. I used to get these in the 80's too. Target used to carry them in Tennessee, so it looks like they were more than a regional thing. Wish they would bring them back!

Planter's Cheeze balls and Cheeze twists in the can are back. Bought them today for $2.50 for a 2.75 ounce canister. Even sez right on the can "they're back!"...thought they used to be bigger.

Turns out the new formula is nastay! Not the same at all. Very salty and tastes like cheap mac-n-cheeze.
