In the late 1980s, Pop Secret had these commercials with Ritchie Valen's "La Bamba", with beach graphics. I was particularly found of the Pop Secret cheese powder popcorn, but it didn't stick around very long. Popping these in the mirco was difficult for some reason. A lot of unpopped kernals or a lot of burned popcorn.

They also had commercials in the late 80's/early 90's where Annie Potts from Designing Women would basically sleep with a bowl of popcorn.

I like Pop-Secret better than I do Act II Microwave Popcorn and better than I do Orville Redenbacher's. I don't like the kettle corn because it's so sugary.
