Ok, maybe this goes to show what a huge 80's dork I am, but i have a VHS tape my mom recorded off of Nickelodeon, ( i think i was like 6 or so) and it actually contains a commercial for PUdding ROll ups. there are some kids dressed as detectives and I still remember the jiggle.. "how can it be? I can't believe my eyes. It's Pudding Roll-Ups, the pudding in disquise!" LMAO! I love the 80's!!!!!

I LOVED pudding roll-ups!!! Not too many people remember them - but they were awesome! I wish they would come back!!!

I didn't like these much. I preferred Fruit Roll Ups. I only had the chocolate. Maybe I would have liked the butterscotch version better.

OMG I loved these things. There was a guy in my neighborhood who gave them out at Halloween and I was hooked after that... I loved the butterscotch ones.

I remember pudding roll ups, same brand as fruit roll ups in the same wrapping. I know you could make fruit roll ups easily by putting apple sauce or some other sauce in a circle and baking it. There must be a way to replicate fruit roll ups and home cooking is so much healthier. I love to bake! They have been out since I guess the early 90s, but I remember them in the late 80s. Fruit roll ups never went out so I wonder why the pudding did. Well I guess you could try putting pudding on a pan and baking it as you could for fruit roll ups. I am more of a baking dessert person, but I do get the nastalgic craving for some of the old stuff. A couple of years ago I was waiting in teh 7-11 on my job because my boyfriend was picking me up from work and I was debating whether I should walk or call a cab since I was waiting so long, but I didn't feel like walking or spending money on a cab for a few blocks so I waited and ate a yodal. Okay not the most interesting story, but we were on the topic of 80as snacks, actually that's more like from the 50s.
