Rocky Road was my favorite cereal growing up! One day my mom came home from the grocery store and she said that they were out. We never saw it again. I am now 29 and my friends and family still wish that they would put it back on the market!!
Talk about a blast from my past!! OMG this was my favorite cereal!! God if I wish i could find this again!! This was the one of the best things to accompany my saturday morning trend of cartoons!!
I would buy at least two boxes at once. They need to bring it back. If only for a limited time

My Mom brought this cereal home for me once, and I loved it! Then she saw a special on the news about how it wasn't good for you and refused to buy it ever again. Shortly after, it disappeared for good! Those bastards!
I know!! I loved this as a kid and dont know why it was so short lived.

I would have sworn I was the only one who ate this cereal. It was my favorite, but everytime I have brought it up no one has heard of it.

OMG! I never thought it would come down to this but here goes, I admit every time I walk down the cereal isle I reminice about the Rocky Road cereal I wonder if its possible they still make it but you have to order it from the company via the internet and have it deliverd to your house?

Rocky Road was surely the best cereal ever made! Now that all its fans are adults, we can buy and eat as much as we want. They should bring it back.
All the comments above are exactly my thoughts too!! No one has ever heard of it, I loved it like it was a drug and it just disappeared! LOL!! Saturday morning cartoons and I even still have glow in the dark stickers that were in the cereal tucked away in my sticker book somewhere! Fantastic!!!
I ate 1/3 of a box of this stuff every morning before school. For a long time they gave away small packages of Jelly-Belly jelly beans inside and i'd have to open the box as soon as we got home from the grocery store or my brother would take the Jelly-Bellys for himself. Good Times...

i used to loooove this cereal when i was little. when they stopped making it my mom told me it was because it turned little kids into sugar cubes. and i believed her. thanks mom.

I fondly remember Rocky Road cereal. It was one of the best cereals I had as a kid. I also remember the characters from the TV commercial: Choco, Van & Marsha. I am 33 now, and wish General Mills would bring it back.
I LOVED this cereal. I too remember when my mother cam home from the grocery store and said that they no longer had it. I now eat Smorz - not nearly as good, but it reminds me of Rocky Road.

I kno its probably a long shot but we all kno that cereal now a says is more nutritious in taste for kids but for all of us that grew up on this is now in our 30's would like to get one last chance to have a little taste of our childhood again...PLEASE BRING THIS BACK ONE MORE TIME G.MILLS..

This cereal was the best best best best ever!!!!!! I was 11 st the time. I am 41 now and still look for it. Can u imagine? No one has a clue what i am talking about when i say rocky road....it was the best ever!!!!
I'm a little late to this page here. As a kid back then it would have to be a pretty darn good toy I wanted to not choose Rocky Roads. I would pick at it and eat all the less sweet cereal and grinned at the chocolate covered marshmallow wins before sinking my teeth and hear that special sound as I chewed on them.. Yummy!
Agree, what a perfect cereal. General Mills was on point in this era. This, S'mores Crunch. I realize we'll probably never going to get to taste them again but it's great that resources like this one allow those of us who were there to think back.
I also remember this cereal, I was only like 4 or 5 when I last ate it, but now 36,it was the best cereal, the s'mores cereal reminds me of it but not as good as the rocky road, I really want to know what happened to it??
This was the best cereal of all-time. I have eaten every kid cereal from 1970 until now. Freakies may be my second favorite. The chocolaty nut coated marshmallows of Rocky Road have never been duplicated by any other cereal.
