These were M&M like candies, colored half greenish-blue, half dark brown ... mint flavored chocolate inside the candy coating ... awesome candy ... wrapper mimicked the candy's appearance ...

This used to be one of my favorite candies in the 80's along with the Wispa candy bar. Does anyone know if either of these are available ANYWHERE anymore?

This too was my favorite candy as a kid! I have been in search of them for the past ten years or so now. I figured they were Canadian since they disappeared about the same time that Areo Bars and Coffee Crisps did in Buffalo, NY. I still remember the little crown on them too.

I haven't seen these in easily over 20 years. I remember a neighbor's mailbox had them painted on, that was the last I've seen or heard anything about them. Sort of like a cross between m&m's and a peppermint patty. What I would like to know is who made them? I don't think it was Mars, which makes m&m's.

Grew up across the street from the WW HQ of Mars, Inc. and they WERE in fact made by Mars. Mom worked there for 15 years. The mint were good, but the coffee ones were AMAZING!!!!

I used to eat these as a kid, I loved the minty flavor just like a mint M & M. I haven't seen them in years!

I can't believe this, I LOVED these, nothing has ever tasted the same, like m&m's has the mint ones, but it's not the same!

YES!!! Everyone accuses me of being crazy, saying there is no such candy! The fools! The tasty little fake M&Ms were available in the 'lil town of Lafayette, IN when I was growing up as a kid...circa 1980-90. I would LOVE to get some...or at least a bag for my candy collection! LOL.

Wow, I have talked to so many people about these and only my brother and I seemed to remember them, everyone is like, "They never had a mint m&m." I'd be like, "No, they were just LIKE m&m's, geez!" They were the best, I miss them so much!

I loved these when I was a kid too! I remember dumping out the bag and splitting the two colors with a friend. There is a new candy out that is just like them (York Peppermint Pattie "pieces"). Made by Hershey. I had them and that's what reminded me of Royals.

I think the candy was three colors, actually - white, brown and green. And the pieces were stamped with little king crown emblems (and maybe the letter 'R' and/or pine trees, too? Maybe I'm imagining that part ...) Anyway, Royals were bomb! I ate my last bag somewhere around 1981 during a family trip to the lake. I was only 3. Still remember how good they tastes!!!
