I remember Slice had Apple, and it was awesome. Just like Martinelli's sparkling apple cider, but $1 for a 2l bottle. The closest thing now is Manzanita Sol, which is very good but seems to only be available in the southwest US.

I adored that flavor I talked about it in the Burger Buddies comments section like 2 mins. ago.

I think Pepsi owned it. They used to have lemon-lime Slice everywhere they had Pepsi. Then one day it disappeared and Sierra Mist showed up...

The restaurant where I used to waitress served lemon-lime Slice as recently as 2001, I believe. Then, POOF! Gone - yes, Kinderkat, Sierra Mist in its place. Such a shame. You could really taste the difference in Slice. The flavor was just more intensely fruity instead of just SWEET.

I remember only lemon lime and orange. I used to mix alcoholic drinks for guests with the lemon lime. I think I was 4 or 5. I dont remember ever seeing an apple flav. How long did apple last in the stores?

I also remember only the lemon-lime and orange flavors. I hated the lemon-lime, but the orange was great.

Apple Slice was so good. They were in these short 16-ouz bottles for .55 cents at the corner store. I'm 32 now, but how I wish I could go back to the days of yesteryear - anyone agree?

I absolutely LOVED apple slice!!!!! It would be great if they brought it back. I'm 33 now. I remember it was out around 1986.

Apple slice was great! I wish they would bring it back. Also vanilla Crush was good. Tasted somewhat like cream soda!

Oh My GOD!!! I really miss the apple slice! If only we could just go back to those days just for a few hours. I would drink one after the other (I used to do that back in the late 80's) why can't the soda companies just leave all the good drinks alone? Apple Slice..mmmmmmm...!

Pepsi originally produced Teem,a lemon-lime soda since the 1960's. But in 1984, it was gone and Slice came out.Lemon-lime Slice lasted until 2001 when Sierra Mist came out, while the other flavors (such as grape and orange) were still made until 2005, then Tropicana twister soda came out to replace those, while Sierra Mist was still being made. Then last year in 2008, Tropicana Twister was discontinued and now Pepsi has Crush. The apple-flavored Slice everybody keeps talking about was discontinued in the 1990's. Try Fanta Apple, it's awesome!
