I think they were called "Suddenly S'Mores". They were made by Nabisco and came in a red package: "Starting in the 1990s, Nabisco offered ready-assembled versions called Suddenly S'Mores, specially designed to be cooked in the microwave. They were $2.90 US for 16 of the cookies in August 1990." And here's a document from Nabisco in 1990/1991 listing Suddenly S'Mores as a product on page 13 of the PDF: http://legacy.library.ucsf.edu:8080/d/t/j/dtj24d00/Sdtj24d00.pdf Definitely miss these things!

My family didn't have a microwave so the only time I had them was my mom's friend was watching me cause I was home sick from school and she let me pick anything from the supermarket ( I don't know why you would let a kid who just vomited in your house 2 hours earlier pick out food but whatever) and they were glorious. I wish they brought them back

My brother had a friend whose father worked for Nabisco, and every now and then he'd give us ccrates and boxes of overstock they had, including smores. I went nuts over these puppies!

Yep, I remember these... "Suddenly S'mores." But I believe they came out around the Fall of 1989. I was in 6th grade and I remember some of my friends brought them to school with lunch. I started seeing that commercial for it around then. My mom decided to try them and bought them at the store. I loved them and it was such a shame they didn't last too long. Of course I'll just make my own now... chunk of a Hershey bar with a marshmallow on top, sandwiched between two graham crackers. :)
